Part 1: Wolf Packs
Living Packs
The Dragon-Wolves
Sky Fang- Founder of the Dragon-Wolves. Tough, with huge fangs and squared shoulders. He had cloud-white fur and deep green eyes, and was very tough and menacing. However, he was actually a very kind and protective leader, although became very cruel when betrayed or threatened. He died in the Battle of Winter Tooth at 36 animal years old, with a mate and three heirs.
Owl Scream- First heir of Sky Fang. Huge and mean, with glinting amber eyes and sharp teeth. Her pelt was a dark tawny color and her muscles were heavy and powerful. She was also very lanky, so was very difficult to defeat. Her tail was lost in battles and her face had multiple scars. She killed her youngest sister so she could be alpha and scared her other sister enough to back down. She died at age 12 in animal years when her many battles paid off and she was overpowered by the wolves of her pack who wanted to overthrow her. She had no pups or mate but her remaining sister did, and so her sister became alpha.
North Sea- Second heir of Sky Fang. Rich white coat with deep, dark blue eyes and a beautiful, fluffy tail. She was not the best alpha, as she refused ever to fight, and although was very kind, not strong enough to defend her pack, so began the War of Ice Melt between her pack and the loners, who were hungry for territory. In the end, she came to her senses and realized she had no choice but to fight. She died of old age at animal age 92, with one heir.
Viper Claw- Only heir of North Sea. He was a gorgeous gray wolf with lustrous brown eyes and huge, pearly white fangs. He was lean and lanky, and very, very intelligent. Unfortunately, he wasn't the best fighter, like his mother, so he used his cunning to get him out of situations, so instead was a tactician and came up with the greatest wolf fighting and hunting tactics that are still used today. He wasn't a bad or mean leader, either. He led his pack to victory in many hunts and battles, without raising a claw of his own. He died at the animal age of 47, when attacked by the alpha of Pack Red Strike. His mate went on and gave birth to six healthy heirs.
River Wing- The sixth, youngest heir of Viper Claw. Very dark gray with pale blue eyes and strong, squared shoulders. He was agile and well-tempered, and very good at hunting. He was sort of dim but very good at defending, dodging and and fighting, and used these skills to aid the pack. He often relied on his elder sister for guidance. He sadly died at the young animal age of 21 when he tumbled down a slope and broke his spine and neck in a very inconvenient fighting location. His death was mourned and his elder sister took the throne.
Moon Fire- The third heir of Viper Claw. Silvery-gray wolf with rich amber eyes and extremely long claws. She possessed impressive intelligence and was very swift and fast. She knew how to use her claws and she knew how to defend herself and her pack. She was devoted to her family and pack and would have sacrificed herself for both. When her younger brother, the alpha, died, she took the throne in hopes to make him proud. She sought vengeance for his death and was constantly fighting Pack Red Strike, but to no avail. It would not bring her brother back. Eventually she sought peace within her pack and gave birth to two pups. She died of old age, at 80 animal years.
Ravensnow- The first heir of Moon Fire. Nearly white with a dark muzzle and tail, and piercing yellow eyes. Evil and destructive, he had massive shoulders and huge teeth, and sharp claws that he inherited from his mother. He was also a cannibal. He ate his own sister when he was young, although the pack assumed a wild creature had broken into the nursery. When he was older, he killed countless wolves from Pack Red Strike and ate them, and when he became alpha, used his power to destroy and kill several wolves in his pack, including two of his aunts, and ate them. Then he waged hundreds of battles with the Darkwind pack and those remaining of the devastated Pack Red Strike. He was killed by his own mother at animal age 31, tossed off the very cliff that River Wing had died falling down. His cousin replaced him as alpha.
Wigeon- The first heir of Hunting Tail and cousin of Ravensnow. He was a beige wolf with dull green eyes and a patchy, stained snout. Extremely ordinary-looking, with no extremely large muscles, lanky legs for running, or smart eyes, he seemingly wasn't a natural-born hero. But he was his looks were deceiving. Strikingly cunning, strong, and fast, he would pound down on any wolf that dared threaten the pack. His ambition to prove he was better than his cousin drove him to lead harder and more exceptional than ever before. He mated and had pups later on in his life, but died in a sneak attack led by the ever-recovering Pack Red Strike at age 58.

Hornet- The first heir of Wigeon. Tall, with well-balanced shoulders, and a wiry body the color of washed charcoal. His eyes were a rich amber. He was strong but preferred not to fight. Instead, he liked to study fire. He was the first blacksmith in all of Krästa and he forged all twelve of the Amulets of Krästa, those being the

Dragon-Eagle Amulet
Pack Red Strike Amulet
Nightwind Pack Amulet
Click-Whistle Amulet,
all four of the Fishtalon Provinces' Amulets,
and the Great Dragon Amulet.
Hornet took these amulets and aided Queen Fleckus, a dragon, up the steep Volcano of Vengeance. There, she blessed each of the amulets with powerful abilities, and dropped her own Great Dragon Amulet into the lava so that no mortal could touch it, which fulfilled the Dragon Prophecy. Afterwards, Hornet brought the amulets back to each of the tribes, and spent the rest of his life studying their properties and creating weapons for his pack. He died at age 76 when he was assassinated in a Gathering discussing the amulets.
Sting- The first (and only) heir of Hornet. Her pelt was sort of patchy. She was mostly gray and silver, but her muzzle was black and she had patches of brown on her body. Her eyes were a sorrowful gray color. Sting was an excellently strange and different leader, but when the other packs became jealous of the amulets she knew how to solve their problems. She was known as the Peacemaker for her win-win solutions to problems. But she wasn't all that smart, or powerful, or fast. She was just an ordinary wolf trying to be a leader in the world, a leader who kept her people from war and hunger. She died of natural causes at age 82, with a mate and five pups.
Thunderstrike- The first heir of Sting. His muzzle and paws were a brilliant black and his pelt was a marbled gray, dark in some places and light in others. His eyes shone with a dutiful yellow. He was a very determined alpha, determined after so many eras of peace to keep it that way. He would strike a blow against any terrorist packs that would dare threaten those rights. He wasn't extremely strong, as in heavy and bulky, but you could describe the alpha's endurance. He was killed tragically at age 48 by a hostile group of mercenaries from Red Strike. He had a pregnant mate at the time.
Rainystone- The first heir of Thunderstrike. Rainystone was a pale gray. Very pale. In fact, he was almost white. His eyes were dark brown and stared unfathomably at other wolves. From a young age, he was taught by his mother that violence is not the way and that you should always stand for peace. But this annoyed Rainystone. He didn't want peace. He wanted to be a warrior. So he took up arms on the Alpha Rock and went to war against the other wolf packs. Turns out that they were both already involved in other wars, both against each other and the lions, and he ended up destroying the entire packs. He was killed at age 63 by the Dragon-Eagles as punishment for his unjust actions, although he did eliminate the bloodthirsty packs.
Hibiscus- The second heir of Rainystone, as her sister before her died early. Her pelt is a gorgeous white with little flecks of light brown here and there. Her eyes are a pale green. Although she was alpha at young age, she did a good deal of healing for the pack. She fixed the wreckage from her father's war and swore an oath on the amulet to never fight like her father did. After fixing the pack, she led it back into a time of peace, though the going was rough. She had a mate, and pups, and is still alive today, but extremely old.
Tundra- The first heir of Hibiscus. Tundra is actually a very dark brown. She is called 'tundra' for the white spot on her forehead. Her eyes are blue. She supported her mother's peace motions and helped the pack heal as well. She also made an alliance with the Dragon-Eagles and Dragon-Lions so that they would be at peace too. She is still alive, and remains an encouraging elder in the pack. She is known to be gentle towards pups.
Twilight- The first heir of Tundra. She has beautiful storm-gray eyes and a shadowy gray pelt, with a silver underbelly. Her tail fur is known to be flecked with brown. She is the current leader of the Dragon-Wolves and has further established it into a community of well-being. She installed the Gates, golden walls opening into the camp, using the pure magic of the Amulet. She also created the Golden Fountain for wolves to drink from, in the center of camp. And using the power of the Amulet once more, she transformed the simple rock dens into a giant stretch of rock, with caves all lined up on the sides. Today her work makes life better for her peaceful pack, and her strength and speed will support them anytime that it ever must come to battle.
Extinct Packs
Red Strike
Scarlet- The founder of Pack Red Strike. She was huge, with rippling pelt and muscular build. Her fur was the color of sunset and her paws were as black as night. Her deep brown eyes were judging and deep. Proud and haughty, this red wolf was not afraid to use her powerful jaws and claws. She would leap upon any enemy that threatened her leadership or pack, for although she was quite arrogant, she was a great leader who protected her kind. She died with a mate and six pups at age 40 when her head was severed from her shoulders by a jealous opponent.
Sun Shoulders- The firstborn son of Scarlet. His fur was actually towards a yellow spectrum, and he had deep, dark (almost black) brown paws, as well as gleaming chestnut eyes. He inherited Scarlet's deadly muscles, although his legs were weak and he often walked with a limp. He had a powerful bite and a serious attitude. He was really quite kind, but he was often quiet, lost in thought, and easily distracted. He made wise decisions for his pack. And he lived a long life, all the way up to age 76, when he died of unknown causes, although it is presumed he caught a disease. His children lived on after him.
Blood River- The firstborn son of Sun Shoulders.
